Dietetics
Nowadays there is such a wide range of food, especially luxury products. The shelves are full of high-calorie treats. Therefore, it is not surprising that we no longer know what is healthy or unhealthy. It is a challenge for the dietitian to increase the insight of clients and to let them leave the house with a broad smile. This is where the dietitian is happy to help and coach.
Dietician practice Salu
Dietetic Practice Salu caters to all age groups. Multidisciplinary cooperation is important here, including with family physicians, physical therapy and home care. This allows effective and fast action in case of a medical complaint. Many goals can be achieved with motivation and positive energy. This not only results in a healthier, but also a happier life.
What do you see a dietitian for?
For the following conditions you can visit the dietitian for appropriate advice: Diabetes Mellitus, high blood pressure (hypertension), gastrointestinal problems, underweight, overweight (also for children), sleep apnea, eating problems, vegetarian diet, allergies or intolerances, pregnancy and excessive cholesterol (hypercholesterolemia).
Home visit
If you are unable to come to the practice, it is also possible for the dietitian to come to your home for a home visit. This requires a referral from the doctor or general practitioner stating why a home visit is desirable.
Cost
You will be reimbursed 3 hours per year from the basic insurance. It will first be deducted from your deductible. You can get a referral through your doctor for dietary advice. However, this is no longer mandatory.
