WHAT IS PSYCHOSOMATIC PHYSIOTHERAPY?
The psychosomatic physiotherapist is specialized in treating (long-term) complaints associated with tension, stress, anxiety, pain, fatigue and/or other unexplained complaints. In ‘psychosomatic complaints’ not only physical, but also psychological and social aspects play a role. These three aspects are taken into account during the treatment.
Psychosomatic complaints can manifest themselves in respiratory complaints such as hyperventilation, unexplained pain throughout the body, dizziness, headache, migraine, shortness of breath and possibly palpitations.
We are happy to assist you in restoring a disturbed balance between tension and relaxation and between load and load capacity.
